Every single supermarket in Germany plays 'English' songs all the time, but they cannot appoint for hell's sake an English speaking person in the Visa office. How great this country is!! I am never coming back here again in my life.

it is called \Ausländeramt\, meaning for foreigners for God's sake, and with foreigners you need to have a global common language, which is English. To be fair, most of them - not all - are making it really hard to explain and handle VISA processes, either from their archaic way of communication (letters) or strictly sticking to German language to must have a translator along, to not answering the calls, to not mentioning what other VISA options are practically better for your stay in Germany. I hope authorities would consider these reviews

We had no issues at all. Waiting time was acceptbaba. You cannot accept taht everyveve speaks English. So far no issues.

The most racist and stupid place on earth. They expect you to speak in proper hard German even if you arrived in this country just a week ago. No one is ready to speak in English in this VISA office!! I believe that Germans should get the same treatment when they visit other countries. I hate Germany now because of this one specific place!!!!

No one speak english in the visa office. however, you have to make an appoitment through the phone. It must be the toooop 1 worst place on the earth.
