Although it is very hard to get an appointment due to the pandemic and it's exceptional circumstances I was still able to get an appointment with the help of Frau Yildiz. She was very understanding for my situation and was very helpful and kind to me. Therefore she made my experience much better than expected! Thank you

The COVID pandemic measures forced this institution to be more efficient. Some years ago I spent the entire day waiting in a line without any guarantees to be able to do the paperwork ( after several hours, they told me I had to come back another day). But now they have an online appointment system! Only had to wait 5 minutes. I hope they keep the system when the pandemic is over...

They have good employees. However, they are also very understaffed, making it almost impossible to reach them by conventional means (e-mail of telephone). Averaging these aspects, it seems fair to me to rate the Ausländerbehörde 3 stars.

Still don't understand the good review people give here. It just feels unfair. Some people get their visa or aufenthaltstitel so fast. Meanwhile some people have been waiting for months for their visa. I'm one of the people that have been waiting for months. I do follow their instruction. I do everything right. I'm not a lazy people that just sitting and wait them to do everything. But still. Email not answered, phone always busy. And now, no more direct speech, just with appointment. Meanwhile the only way to make an appointment is via email and phone, their email and telephone number are just useless.
