I have never seen such rude nurse and doctor since I came Germany 10 years ago. First of all, they let my wife wait almost 4 hours although she has extreme pain and cannot even sit. There was no person with critical issue, but my wife. Secondly, after her turn came the nurse shouted at her and doctor insulted her. I think it is because we couple of times asked to let my wife enter earlier. We were not rude, but they were extreme rude. The stuff of the Frauen-Universitätsklinik must improve their soft-skills!!!

I have never saw such thing in my hole life. They throw out my wife from the sickroom, they couldn’t wait for me few more hours. She had a very serious operation just two days ago. When I was there, she was very exhausted and in pain. They should thank God that I don’t have enough money to sue them

As an English speaker with limited German I found the Frauenklinik to be of a high standard and overall very comfortable. In April 2018 I was unexpectedly and swiftly admitted due to rare complications mid pregnancy. I lost my baby in hospital on the evening I was admitted and I felt overall supported and well looked after by all staff. Multiple Doctors assessed me throughout this first day of admittance and a midwife assisted me throughout my loss/birth. Everyone was kind and sympathetic and I was given adequate (lots!) of IV pain medication throughout the day. I was also immediately given my own room (once my waters broke) in which my husband could stay with me. I spent 3 nights and 4 days in hospital on antibiotics and I felt so thankful to have my own space to grieve and recover from the physical trauma and shock. (It is worth noting that it was not expected that I would lose my baby so suddenly, if at all, so they performed very well under surprise/terrible circumstances). I returned later in 2018 for a follow up surgery and that also went well. Three Doctors performed my surgery and I felt in the safest possible hands. I stayed one night in hospital and I shared a room with one other lady. We had our own bathroom with shower, toilet between us. Much like a hotel room would. The Frauenklinik provides everything you expect from a modern hospital. Professional, clean environment with average food and busy yet capable staff. Also worth noting that every Doctor I spoke with during my two separate stays was comfortable to speak English with me. This was greatly appreciated at the time. Some Nurses also spoke English which was also very helpful.

My wife had the operation yesterday and she could go home in a few hours. All well. Her foetus deceased in the 7th week. For the operation, She was completeley anesthesized , so she had zero idea what happened in the Operation room. She said that It felt like those 2 hours did not exist in her life. I was joking that she should later check if her kidneys are still there :D The first procedures were planned from 09:00. We left at 07:45. Normally it takes around 35 min. The morning traffic was too high (also near the hospital) that we reached only by 09:15, but the hospital staff were very accomodating. With full priority, she was taken for the first tests to confirm the death of the foetus. The doctor L. Mayer and team were really friendly and helpful. Next they gave all warnings related to the operation. By 14:00 she was in the operation theatre. We did not even see the doctor who did the operation and my wife was dozing off anyways. Its was some Oberarzt Fr. Blumenstein. Finished at 16:00. Two doctors came by, checked her status and explained us all. We didn't know their names, but they kept us well in the communication loop. She rested till 19:00 and we were out on the same day. Time spent at the hospital: 10 hours - 4 hours of productive time: 6 hours of waiting. My wife shared the room with a mid 30’s German lady who came for an earlier delivery issue. She was in a helpful way pointing out all the waiting times, tasteless food and stuff with the hospital and asked us to take care about it. I told her that both my wife and I come from the third world. The fact that all these things exist and goes within a day itself is a shock for us. Moreover all of them are friendly and insurance covers everything. Then the lady went like “Yeah .. In this perspective, yes, it’s a very good hospital” :D. Thank you Frauenklinik and Team

Appointment taken for 13:00, at 15:00 still waiting. More than 2 hours of waiting without any explanations. This is not very nice...
