If you don't speak German, just stay away from this school. I ordered the snowshoe guided tour and received the confirmation email, but when I arrived at the school, my name is not on the list. Although the website says German/English, the French guide refused to explain things in English and even laughed at you, and kept asking you to quit. The guide kept walking at his pace and not really cared about who has left behind. Bad organization, bad service, bad experience.

CONS: Low quality equipment and bad service. I wouldn't go there again. First skiis I received were of terrible quality and did not allow for proper skiing. Blunt edges and lower surface was covered with deep grooves and looked like the last service was done years ago. I returned the skiis after 2 hours. They had trouble finding reasonable skiis and I ended up with some other really old ones but with better edges and waxing. The ski boots were also quite old and did not fit well, most boots were for wide feet. As they have limited availability I had to take a pair that was ok but not good. I have to mention that I had entered my size and foot type when booking and that my foot is quite average (I have never had a problem finding boots before). The staff were unfriendly and service bad. Staff looked really unmotivated and did not greet anyone entering or approaching them, even after people said hello and bye. I witnessed that several times. I had to go up to them several times and be persistent to get any service, even when three people were working. Two seperate ladies in front of me received terrible service and the employee started to argue and shout at one of them. She was polite and there was no reason for it. Two other girls had left their driving license as deposit, which couldn't be found anymore. The girls themselves had to search through a box with all customers' IDs and driving licenses and after 10 min they found it. PROS: One young female employee was friendly and happy. Really low price. CONCLUSION: Spend a few extra Euros and you get much better material and service down the road.

Not a good experience, they could have been more organized. Some of people very arrogant and not at all friendly and doesn't have smile while talking to customer. Also the instructors are average , they only show how to do, but dont really really provide inputs to individual on what is wrong or what needs to be improved. I had myself and my 8 year old son enrolled via Hochschwald website, thinking that it is good place, but very disappointed as there was no kinder batch he was made to ski with adults with no much inputs for improving his techniques. I would prefer to go to other ski schools in the neighbourhood which are much better and friendly.
