Pretty good experience. Food was great but I have a doubt about the wagyu beef I had as I was sick all night after eating it. Except this, the soup was delicious and the lobster tempura very good. They also have a nice Japanese whisky selection.

Our table had been reserved for my sister's birthday, she really was excited and the place appeared wonderful. My little sis and I were really impressed with the good quality ingredients that are locally sourced, every thing tasted genuinely fresh. Individuals who work here are extremely kind and generally helpful especially to my sister that has food allergies. my bro and sis suggested it to me, was not disappointed, wonderful food and very good price as well. Went for a causal supper, really pleased with price, value for money.
The food was delicious - no doubt. Sushi exquisite and the menu was full of nice surprises. Had to deduct a star though for the atmosphere. We basically were seated in a window display and saw nothing of the restaurant (but the acoustics were strange - we heard a lot). Also seemed a bit more trailored to old-fashioned customers. Too bad, because the eclectic menu would be suited well towards a more young and modern clientele.
Everything was on point except the main dish. I ordered beef teppanyaki; it tasted ok but I find the presentation somehow inadequate given the price. Another friend ordered sea food shabushabu and we both thought it was rather bland. But probably it’s just the way it should be.
Excellent service and very tasteful restaurant. The sushi was good but not great. Their lunch specials at 20-25 are a good deal for miso soup, salad and a generous amount of sushi/sashimi/tempura.
