Last Tuesday I brought my R8 2015 with 40.000 KM for Inspection. The car was in perfect condition, absolutely nothing wrong with the car. I just wanted an Inspection and the oil change. The estimate for the job was 1.400,00 Euros. Next day, the agent calls me that a part on the car is missing. Me: What is the cost? Agent: 30 Euros. Me: No problem. Go ahead. The agent calls me the next day again! The Engine Light is on!!! (MOTORKONTROLLLEUCHTE LEUCHTET) I told the agent that when I left the car with them, there was no Engine Light on. If the engine light is on now, may be the mechanic has broken something during inspection. I just cannot believe that an AUDI with just 40 thousand Km, all of a sudden during an inspection has developed an engine problem. Me: What does the engine light say? Agent: We don't know. We have to diagnose, and charge you for the diagnostics! Me: Please check with the mechanic and call me with more details. The agent calls me after several hours. The oxygen (Lambda) sensor is bad and the repair cost is 700 Euros. Today I paid nearly 2.300,00 Euros and picked up the car, a car that there was nothing wrong with it to begin with. Either AUDI is NOT a good car as we all believe, or I was dealing with a dishonest AUDI dealership.
