The building is not ugly as people say. It gives the square a nice contrast! It looks actually beautiful because the rest of the buildings look old. With the same token, the old buildings look cool because they look in comparison to this modern building a very antique structures. I think it enriches the city.

Jaw-Dropping! Huge!!!! Beautiful!!! This library is a piece of wonder in itself. The beauty of the structure, the huge collection of the data, the management of the place, everything is astonishing to say the least. Freiburg, otherwise also known as city of Students and rightly so, have number of attractions, but this library is peach of the place. You can get books on nearly all the fields. You can relax here. Have a good time reading books and also use the media area. Furthermore, library is well maintained and well-organized. Despite the huge amount of data, one can easily find him(her)self whatever (s)he is looking for.
