Great place for Italian grocery shopping and authentic Italian food. Staff is friendly and polite. Price is on the higher side however, probability 50% more than what one would pay in Italy.

Hands down the best Italian “cucina” I have experienced. The place serves as an Italian grocery store when the kitchen is close so you eat right beside the kitchen crew and the pizzaiolo, working, talking, singing, shouting at the waitresses and waiters when any dish gets ready. The food is amazing, tasty, fresh, strong: traditional recipes at their best. The ”tonarelli cacio e pepe” (pasta with squid, pepper and truffles) is succulent and totally worth the price; their pizzas are perfectly cooked, and thin and crispy as they should be. Wether you are on your own or as a bunch of friends, they have tables of all sizes, even with benches. If you like Italian cooking, you cannot miss this place!

Alba Miga

Authentic Italian corner in the middle of Friburg. The service is super good and the food in authentically Italian. Good price for the quality received. Tagliatelle tartufo go for it.

Very big disappointment... Inadequate prices for the food's quality and bad service. It used to be one of the best Italian restaurants in town (the first time visited it in 2013), unfortunately there was a constant decline... Visited it last time in 2019 and did not bring food and service satisfaction either. Yesterday (three of us) ordered food for which we waited more than an hour, after such a long waiting time only two of us got our dishes since they forgot about the third person. So two of us finished our food and only afterwards was brought the third dish. Tagliateli with mushroom and ragout from dorade - mushrooms were frozen and not fresh, sauce was so cheaply made, like from Maggie Bullion... Ravioli with Ricotta and Spinach - Ravioli were dry since there were made and left on the air... Right now not advisable to go there, maybe in couple of years again. There is a huge room for improvement...
