Been insured with Mirascon for a year and not had any problems. Windshield being repaired this week and they are very pleasant to deal with.
First of all, never get in a binding contract that you can't cancel even if you are not receiving the services you paid for. My car broke down, when I called them, they said they will provide a rental for me. I received a call from the rental car place. Before I could pick up the car, Mirascon called me and said that they do not cover rental, what nonsense! Then they were suppose to tow my car to a garage, two days later I received a text from someone asking where can they pick up my car. At that point ADAC had taken my car to a nearby shop because the location it broke down was not safe. I was left stranded and the staff was rude. I don't recommend this company. Do your research and understand the contract. You need roadside assistance especially here in Germany and they don't offer that or rental. Be wise!!

We had a great experience with this insurance company. Unfortunately I got into 2 accidents this past year and both times everything was taken care off very quickly. The ladies at mirascon in vilseck are also some of the friendliest people I've ever met. The prices were very reasonable too, can definitely recommend this company!
#1: A 1 year insurance contract without the possibility to cancel... HUGE No-go! #2: They only send blank insurance cards twice a day (needs to be in the vic reg system before you can register your car). You can wait at vic reg all day just to find out that your insurance isn't in the system (even if you requested it the day prior), nor in Wiesbaden's system and then try again the next day (I hope you get paid salary). #3: (I never thought I would say this) Less services than USAA for a higher price. *Positives* #1: They use auto repair shops that have loaner vehicles Remarks complete
Piece of SHxxx insurance! DO NOT GET THIS INSURANCE! The rd side assistance staff are liers! They will tell you one hour and then you will call back in 1 hour for them to make up some bs story why it will take another hour! I give two stars because the price is cheap but it's true you get what you paid for. I will be switching back to USAA
