Amazing church end amazing views. It’s a must see if you are in the area. The inside of this church is stunning. Take a few mins and say a prayer and take in the breathtaking sights.

The church was built in the 1890s by WilhelmII, and then was badly damaged in a bombing raid in 1943, after that moment the Berliners called it \der hohle Zahn\ the hollow tooth. Originally the project for the new church included the demolition of the damaged spire, but after a pressure from the public, it was decided to incorporate it, so that the ground floor of the old church is now a Memorial of the church itself (Kaiser Wilhelm memorial church). In the old church you can still admire the mosaics all around (Hohenzollern procession, Archangel Michael fighting the dragon...) The new church and the new bell tower are separated, the first is octagonal, the second hexagonal, both are made of concrete, steel and glass (the predominant colour is blue) and because of their shape, they are nicknamed \Lippenstift und Puderdose\, the lipstick and the powder. I absolutely reccomend to visit both the old and the new church, the latter has nothing special to see, but will create a a strong feeling inside you. Another advice is to pass by during the night, because the blue colour of the glass is incredible.

Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church is a former church that was practically destroyed during the Second World War, but deliberately kept part ruin as a memorial to peace. Alot of fun exhibitions are held outside the church
