Exquisite setting, worth a visit regardless of your feelings on archaeology.

One of the most beautiful museums in Frankfurt. The building is also a historic and charming in a way. It has a variety of old historical materials which has explanation. When I visited , not many people there so I felt I am one of the old history and travelling through them. I would like to visit it again. I would put one more star if it has more English explanation.

The museum has a very nice collection of Roman materials and antique pottery, as well as some finds from the antiquity of Iran. They also have a really nice designated building for the museum. The presentation of their items though is quite poor. There is information only in German. Their graphic reconstructions are unprofessional. The arrangement of cabinets is somewhat without order. It is worth seeing, just be prepared to ask for information in different language, if you don't speak German.

Museum is a bit small, has some interesting items.

Nicely organized. Many things to see, mainly pottery. Descriptive audio guide available. Downsides: Permanent exhibition does not have English descriptions; Following the correct audio guide chapter is a bit tricky; On hot days the temp isn't very comfortable.

Nice exhibit on Germanic cultures contemporary with Rome and info on the local Neolithic. Most text only in German. But good collections.

Beautiful museum. While very few descriptions were in English, you can do the audio tour in English.

Excellent conservation of distant past relics from stoneage to the Romans to 8th century. Audio guide has English and some description in English. If they can add more English descriptions gradually will be even better.
