a very particular catedral. It‘s not so big and not so stunning like other catedrals in Germany, but for me it‘s a very good experience to get inside and feel the peace.

Top and perhaps the only place to see in central Essen. Golden Madonna is magnificent. There are few more pieces of art surviving. Otherwise, the cathedral is quite empty- I guess due to the bombing campaign during Second World War.
A beautiful church with amazing architecture. The masses are held at both adoration church and the Dom ( Big one). I used to attend Mass at adoration church at 7 am on weekday and at 10 am in the Dom church on Sunday. More timings are available in the Essen minister website.

Beautiful Dom right in the middle of Essen, almost a hidden gem! Some of the pieces in the treasury are pretty neat, and the people here are very nice!
