Good place in summer to soak up the vibes of this pleasant village. Ice cream is good, most go for the spaghetti ice cream. Not my favourite. My favourite is the Waldfrüchten Becher mit Sahne: forest berries, berry preserve and whipped cream. Ice cream itself is good, a bit too sorbet and watery to my taste. Unlike Italian gelato or other local ice cream shops. Few parking spaces nearby. Would be good if they'd have a coffee shop there in the winter months with WiFi as there are not enough cosy working and meeting areas around here.. How can they run a whole year and just selling ice cream!??
The very BEST gelato I've ever had. The owner retreats to Italy every winter so make sure you visit during the summer. They have fresh flavors and tons of them. The \spaghetti bowl\ is a local favorite.
Very good service and not expensive. I had the tutti frutti and the kids have chosen different tastes. Really try the 'Drakenfrucht' really tasty and cool to tell at home you had dragon ice cream
Very tasty (and not expensive) Italian style \gelato\, really unexpected finding. If you're in the neighbourhood, for example hiking on the hills near Kandern, make sure to stop there, you won't regret it. Only down point: they don't sell bottled beverages.
