It is a very atmospheric place, and this atmosphere is entirely made of coffee, chocolate and cacao. This is a store with these products, and a museum on this whole topic, and a cafe. All on the same floor in different rooms. My wife and I did not go to the museum, but with pleasure walked around the store itself and warmed ourselves with delicious coffee for me and hot chocolate for her.
I love hot chocolate. This is my place. Large variety. I tasted a lot. I bought a lot. Staff was very friendly and supportive. A must when being in Dresden. If you like hot chocolate or chocolate in general.
I absolutely love the atmosphere of this place. It feels so unique and like a remnant from another time. The hot chocolate is authentic and pure. I ordered 100% dark and it was wonderfully bitter and smooth. The staff was also very warm and friendly. The brownie chocolate cake was amazingly chocolately without being overwhelmingly sweet.
Chocolate heaven. I hope to visit again one day.
Exquisit chocolate specialities. Try the ice on a stick with cacao surface. Might be very crowded, but you can kill some time browsing the museum or the shop.
Excellent coffee, and hot chocolate! Cakes are, also great.
