It’s difficult to beat education AND chocolate. Everything is in German and English so it makes it easy for most tourists to read everything there is to see. Children can learn about the history of chocolate, the history of the company, as well as see pictures of the plants from which we get the beans used in chocolate’s production. COVID precautions are in full effect and should do nicely for making people feel comfortable coming here for a visit. The wait to see the displays on the upper floor are worth it for those who enjoy a little history and some high-quality displays. The store has a massive selection and if you go shopping after seeing the displays you’re likely to spend a bit extra there! It’s a fun, quick visit for kids and the chocolate is delicious. It’s worth a trip.

The Ritter Museum and shop is a place that will make both children and grownups very happy! The famous German chocolate manufacturer sells all different flavours and sizes of their well known products here, and it is a feast for the eyes as well. It's so colourful in there! You can find cute little packages to enjoy yourself or give as a present for every occasion. As Autumn arrives, they display all their Christmas flavours and packages too. There is a whole section of sales and discounts, where you can get big bags with 2 kg of different chocolates for less than 12. In there you can also buy the new flavours they are testing, before putting them on the main shelves. There are a number of souvenirs and gadgets you can buy, from soccer balls to polo shirts, school supplies and different kinds of reusable bags.

Beautiful location and building, patio was nice for brunch, but not much more for activities. Small chocolate museum and shop. Art museum as well.

We try to stop here a few times a year to check out their new seasonal varieties and it's always enjoyable. The prices are significantly better than grocery stores and they have lots of flavors that you don't find elsewhere.
