Their vegan tan-tan ramen is the best ramen I have ever tasted in Berlin. I also loved that they served Kirin beer with a frosty glass, which I’ve never expected to happen in this city. The authenticity gave me so much nostalgia. As a Japanese I highly recommend this place.
Good very authentic food. The quality also is pretty good. I think the offer could be a bit bigger and the service could be a little bit improved.
Menu was much smaller than expected, with just ramen and two platters of assorted bar snacks. Taste was pretty spot on. Ramen had a smoke/char flavor to it and tofu age was the right texture, unlike a lot of the tofu you find around Berlin. Service was fast and friendly. In short: Life Berlin is legit.
We went without booking and got a table straight away, the menu is simple and at the same time offered us surprising flavors! We like the spinach with truffles and the beautiful salmon.
