Great Schnitzel! We tried the one with the cognac sauce and the one with the mustard, together with croquettes (photos attached). Prices are also very ok and location is perfect before or after a hike & walk around the local objectives. The host is amazing, with great sense of humor. They speak excellent English and menus are in both DE/EN languages. We stayed in the fetish room :) - photos below. Definitely a place to go to for local German food. Great experience A.

Probably the best in Monschau! Staff are really nice and hospitable. They are really busy, mostly fully booked, but they will always accommodate you, including calling you when they have a table available. You just have to pop in and leave your number. That's what I would call exceptional customer service! Food taste superb and very large portions at a great price. Highly recommended!
Nice location, 0.5l glasses of beer and a few tables (at the windows) have the best view in town; Sitting above the river looking out over the market.
