This place is simply amazing. 5 Stars totally deserved. Once you enter the restaurant you feel like being in the US. The cool interior with a lot of stylish wooden tables, modern golden lamps, the modern pop-art paintings, really tasteful music and the cool Bar. You feel like in a steak house in New York. The concept of getting high-quality meat from locals is lovely. The maturing cabinets for the meat make every steak-lovers heart skip a beat. The long process of maturing takes quite some time. The friendly waiters or the owner himself take their time to explain everything about their meat variety. About the food: Absolutely delicious. The spare ribs were over the top. So tender but sticking to the bone. Never tasted anything like this. This place is my new favorite place when it comes to spare ribs, good steaks or anything else considering meat dishes. They even have vegetarian dishes for my veggie-friends. And not to mention the choice of wine and liquors. Good taste has another name: At Golden lamb (Zum goldenen Kalb) I will definitely be back soon.

Worst experience ever tonight and not because we got thrown out at 9pm because of Corona. Waiter was all out for making money and tips, so bad. I am generous, but not when someone tries to make me give him more tip, which is what he did. He also pretty much literally shoved his armpit in my friends face. I can go on, but I am never going back. I used to really like this place but they ruined that tonight.
Food is closer to 5 stars but I found the behavior of the selling process from the waiter unethical, that is why such a low review, pushing the guest to spend without sharing prices in such a way is something I have never experienced. The contrast is that we were treated remarkably well, is very professional and really high standard of food but I had a very bitter experience. As an example, a waiter should not open a bottle of Ruinart champagne a minute after arrival without acknowledgment of a budget or mentioning the price (as a note this is a very expensive bottle). And the same style has been across the whole evening. Conclusion? Wonderful food and service up to 230 eur per person while feeling across the evening being taken advantage. I could have decided to spend the same amount with a different approach and would have left the evening happier. I just wish you re think the way your serving staff approach sales in general, or if a potential customer reading be aware that this could happen to you. I am happy to elaborate further on this experience, please just ask. I may not come back.
The food and drinks were very good and the atmosphere was nice, however the service was a bit slow and the prices a bit steep for the quality.. It’s still one of the better steak houses you can visit, I just think that you can find a better offer for this (or even a lower) price range.
service was a joke and we waited almost 2h for food. Friends of the restaurants owner were there at another table, they got served promptly. Everyone else was not wanted it seems. Pricing is quite ridiculous in that light with more than 200 EUR per Person for a specialty meat and an average bottle of wine. Will never go there again, hopefully covid will put them out of business forever.
