The website's interface was great at allowing me to find apartments based on location and listing the features according to my preference. The communication received from them as I progressed in each step was accurate and informative. The liaising with the landlord was quick and seamless. Getting the right paperwork signed and shared with all parties was super fast. The only downside, but one for which I do not deduct any stars, is that the apartments would benefit greatly from having a 360 degrees view of the place.

Couldn't have asked for more. Flat is exactly as pictured. It is spacious and clean. The house is placed in a beautiful and quite neighborhood. You can get anywhere without a car. Perfect for a short or long stay. Our family stayed for several months (including Christmas) and never lacked for anything. Easy and straight forward renting process. Excellent service all around. Thank you for the beautiful memories!

On the Wunderflat website the apartment page showed 60m² and nice pictures, the option to put our names on the doorbell etc. The reality is: apartment is only 46m², very very dirty, broken lamps, and the landlord called us to say she is upset because we put our names on the doorbell. She did not tell us before the contract signature that she is not the owner but a tenant herself. For all this reasons we asked to get the option to breach the contract and not pay the cleaning fees as soon as we find another apartment. So far, wunderflat only provided us with vague answers and when they answered on the phone, they never engaged themselves with a written confirmation of what they told us. They also refrain from taking into account their responsibilities and say at the end, they are not involved in the contract, it is only between you and the landlord (even if their logo is on the contract). We find their approach and the landlord disguting. Wunderflats seems to be a shadow company that will not help you at all and in our opinion, supports deceptive advertisements because they label our apartment as a verified one even if they apparently did not check it is far smaller that advertised, did not check that our landlord was in fact a tenant, and do not react when we ask that they come to check the apartment now. So they state on their website that they only provide luxury apartments, but we had the example that is completely false. Avoid it or always insist to visit the apartment before signing the contract. For us it was refused, we now know why. But we have now a very very expensive apartment for a so bad quality. The flat with this surface should be at most 50% of the price. On top of that, we found out that our landlord has several wunderflats although she is just a tenant and therefore it goes against Hamburg law for Zweckentfremdung. We guess we will have no other choice that to go to court.

Wunderflats was exactly what we needed when looking for a flat in Berlin. We tried to enter the rental market normally but we quickly ran out of time to secure an apartment. Our contact person, Maike, was responsive and professional, and walked us through all of the steps!
