The place is a gem. Friendly stuff and very interesting concept of Indonesian pancakes with sweet or sour fillings. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. The pancakes cost 4-5 euro each and I can recommend to take two, as they are not very big.

I am a neighbor of this neighborhood and last week I took a friend to this restaurant. The truth is that it surprised us a lot, but negatively. To begin, we entered in the restaurant and we waited for more than 10 minutes, the waitress saw us but not even greeted us, and she also didn’t tell us if we could wait, so we decided to leave. The next day we decided to give to the restaurant a new opportunity, so we went back. We were attended by a man, who speaks to us VERY BAD the whole time. When we went in, it was only 40 minutes before the store get closed, it is the reason why yet we asked if it was possible to order, and they told us only to take it away. So, at the time of ordering, he treated us fatally, making us feel that he didn’t want to prepare food or talking to us. If I had a restaurant, I would never hire dependents like them. Of course, we will not be back, clearly because of them. I give him a star, because my friend liked the food. Not me.

Surabi was a new experience that I really enjoyed. To me the Rendang Sapi was a bit more salty then I expected but still yummy. The salmon was perfect. I highly recommend the blue berry drink with coconut milk and orange juice to go with it. Prices are fair.

Had the Salmon Avocado Surabi. Had a nice asian kick to it with the ginger sauce. Was generously topped.

Amazing! It’s like the better looking exotic cousin of the pancake. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside with a bunch of different tasty fillings. We had simple one with coconut flakes and palm sugar and the fat duck with duck meat, peanuts, egg and cheese. Both absolutely delicious. Several vegan options available.

Unique food. They serve indonesian style pancakes made in authentic clay pots. They only serve pancakes but both sweet and savory. There are many combinations but you can mix it for yourself. Usually it's a quiet place because it doesn't show its potential from the outside.

This snacks is a rare thing in europe or even in Indonesia. With this kind of place, they introduce the taste of Indonesia to Berlin especially Europe. This sweet and savoury taste of coconut should be considered by every food hunters.

Creative approach for traditional Indonesian street food. Clean and cosy place. Small but clean toilet.Warm and friendly owner (speak great Indonesian).
