Children should never be victims of man's follies. This memorial reminds us of the fate of so many of them, sent to London or to the camps. To life or to death. Breaks your heart. Very well executed artwork.
Very impressive. This tragedy is never to be forgotten.
This is quite an experience. It is such a tragic part of the history. Thank you, Frank Meisler and Arie Ovadia for creating this thoughtful work of art, thank you, Lisa Bechner for believing in importance of this work. Thank you all the sponsors who endowed the work, so the rest of us can stop, learn or reminisce, so those who perished in the atrocities of war can be remembered forever and those who made it against all odds can be praised and learned from.
A very moving experience to view these sculptures when visiting Gdansk in September, 2019.
Powerful
Makes you think about those children who survived without their parents and those who didn't survive.
