It’s a beautiful place with stunning views. I was here when i was on a vacation, unfortunately in the times of coronavirus. !The buses, elevator and the main building on the top are closed! The hiking up was pretty difficult and if you aren’t use to hiking up steep hills i would recommend for you to wait until the buses start operating, But the hike of course comes with more stunning views. The parking space seemed reasonably not too crowded but not empty either. And since everything was closed, when we got on the top there wasn’t even a small place where there was shade. But the weather can also change really quick up there. I was there twice and my experiences were really different with the weather, the first time it was cloudy and raining and the other time it was about 30C and sunny. But would I recommend this place? Absolutely, i’d say at the end the views were worth the hike.

It is very difficult not to associate this location with its past.. There is a lot of dark history surrounding this area we should never forget. This is also a very beautiful place and area to visit. The beautiful views from the top are stunning and panoramic. Be sure and bring snacks and water as the Cafe is not always open.

Amazing views of the surrounding mountains. I just wish there weren't all these people around! There's a little museum here that details the history of the place too. Very informative, and perhaps quite confronting. Nevertheless, come here for the views!

From a large car park, a 124 m entry tunnel leads to an ornate elevator that ascends the final 124 m to the building. The inside of the large elevator is surfaced with polished brass, Venetian mirrors, and green leather. The building's main reception room is dominated by a fireplace of red Italian marble presented by Italian dictator Benito Mussolini, which was damaged by Allied soldiers chipping off pieces to take home as souvenirs. The building had a completely electric appliance kitchen, which was unusual in 1937, but was never used to cook meals; instead meals were prepared in town and taken to the kitchen on the mountain top to be reheated. The building also has heated floors, with heating required for at least two days before visitors arrived.

Fascinating place. Definitely worth to visit. For those, who are not very fit, when getting there, it's better to take the bus and later the elevator. Great view.

This place is truly amazing. Check their schedule to see when they are open. As you can imagine snow fall in the winter might not make it possible to get to the top

The beauty of this place is totally dependent on the weather conditions. If the weather is cloudy you will lose 80% of the awesomeness of this place situated high up on the mountain. Other than the scenery enjoyed here, the place is uniquely historical, although today it just houses a restaurant.

Absolutely beautiful scenery, restaurant was closed when we were there but would be beautiful to go to. Getting up through the mountain and seeing the construction that was done 80 years ago is almost as awe inspiring as the view once you reach the top. Well worth the visit.
