Been there to buy climbing shoes. Reasonable selection available, but most importantly very friendly staff. They really spend a decent amount of time consulting their customers. You can test out the shoes directly in the store and take all the time you need to decide which shoes fit your climbing style

Considering they are called "ausrüstung für Rucksackreisende" they don't really have a particularly good selection of backpacks. They have a butt tonne of 20-30l bags, 10 or so bags 50l and very,very few sizes in-between that. If you like spending the most money possible for outdoor items then you will love shopping here.

Overpriced, not a large selection of backpacks given the size of the shop. They carry the same number of backpacks as a much smaller camping/ outdoors shop (who also need the space for other products) but with less variety. Kept telling me to go to the zoo which was weird.

Complete place for outdoor sport activity. It's also good for the children if they need to wait for their parents, because there's a spot for playing.

On the two occasions I went here, two different staff members seemed to have a dismissive and patronising attitude to me, without verbalising it - perhaps on account of me not buying anything, I'm not sure. I won't be supporting this store in the future, and will rather go to Sportscheck.
