The best Syrian-Arabic food in and around Braunschweig! The starters were delicious, the meat was perfect and very large portions. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also great, with very good service and friendly staff. We will definitely be eating there again soon!
Big portions, good prices and excellent friendly service. The kebabs were juicy and delicious, the rest not too impressive though. I was a bit disappointed with the bread and hummus. The minced beef filled ball tasted alright and lacked salt. I’d visit again but only for the kebabs.
Very bad experience, don't be fooled with the good reviews because they are totally false. First, the entrance it's very bad, it doesn't seems like a restaurant (more like the back entrance for employees. Then we never found the tables from upstairs and we stayed at the basement side. The place it's unclean and old, the basement smells kind of mold of something like that. Then I thought, ok, maybe it's not a nice place but the reviews were so good it has 4.6 stars! And OMG, the food mostly was dry and everything fried and with no so good taste (even hummus and falafel taste strange and that is basic!) I've been in many restaurants with this kind of food and all of them had fresh and tasty dishes. The waiters were kind of lazy etc. So I do not recommend this place
I was invited to this lovely restaurant by a dear friend. The food was delicious. We started off with a delightful lentil soup topped with just enough heat to give it a pleasant kick. Then, I had the sampler platter with everything, a great variety of Syrian food. The chicken kebab was my favorite. Alongside was a fresh cucumber and tomato salad, and a vibrant and lemony tabbouleh, all just delicious. All of this served in an intimate ambiance with great and friendly service, and some of the staff speaks English. Would definitely go again!
