I cannot say enough good things about Study Rooms. The most intimidating part was signing up for the lessons. But I am so glad I did. I started with the A1.1 three-week intensive course which was perfect to force me to jump right in, and now I am in the semi-intensive A1.2. I have had the pleasure of having Alisa as my instructor. She's very patient and allows us to talk through anything we don't understand, and she has a very constructive way of correcting me that doesn't make me want to run and hide. This is a comfortable and ideal space and situation to learn a new language in. Highly recommend!!!

I really wanted to start learning German, but was intimidated to start the process. I’m not one of those people who pick up languages easily. My teacher for the beginners course was patient and took the time to go back over the parts I was having trouble with. I can’t say enough good things about it-definitely worth the money. I’m not fluent after the course, but I definitely feel more comfortable and confident. The 3 week course is the perfect amount of lessons to begin to understand and communicate with the locals. I recommend to all incoming military families who want to dive into the community and culture!

We have used Study Rooms and have had the pleasure of Alisa as our primary instructor. We can't speak highly enough of her instruction. She is always professional, courteous, and flexible. We even have a newborn baby that she has no problem with us bringing to lessons. When the baby would fuss or cry, Alisa wasn't phased or annoyed at all. She understands if you're late, she offers to do make up lessons when she has openings in her schedule, and she makes the lessons enjoyable! If you're looking to learn German in a comfortable friendly environment, you should definitely make Study Rooms your first choice!
