Mistreats students although should be student friendly! Friends told me that a lot of reliable student workers did not get a contract renewal, although they do not have enough workers for the Cafés! All jobs for students there, a couple of hundred jobs for students, will not be existing anymore in the upcoming time. It is not okay that a public corporation for students mistreats students like that and takes away the possibility for the next generation of students the needed jobs and money.

Very exploitative policies for employee's especially for students. STW claims to be a non-profit organization and working for students, In fact they have quite ruthless attitude towards student workers.
I heard from a friend, that they fired a lot of their student workers and that they dont pay them their salary. Heidelberg is known as a very social city and such an antisocial institution as the Studierendenwerk Heidelberg is a shame for the city and for the university.
Very bad attitude towards employees. So sad!
