Quite nice place to visit with kids, or friends. Old building is nicely renewed and the interior is quite modern - in few expositions and toilets you can feel old times, although. I didn't like much national wild nature exposition, but aquariums with sea wildlife was very nice. I worths a visit, although there are many aspects to go on better. Parking house is close to museum.

I really love and highly recommend this museum. You will find much more inside, than you expect. Explore and learn about living creature but also earth phenomena, history and of course dinosaurs etc. Just awesome and always worth a visit, over and over again. Must have seen in Karlsruhe.

I was very impressed by this museum, although I only saw the 'vivarium' section. I went here with my 2 year old son and spent 2 hours between the fishes and reptiles. We both enjoyed the modern aquariums and vivariums, looking at and searching for the animals, before he became too tired to visit the rest of the exhibitions. I noticed many interactive screens which makes the exhibitions interesting for kids of many ages. For the price I paid just the part that I saw was worth it, thinking that there's so much more to see makes it absolutely worth the 5 . Highly recommended.
