The place itself is great for families. It is the second time I'm visiting and I really like it although the long walking distance from Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (no public transport is available to the place, so the best is to get your bike). This time the water wasn't that clean as it was the last time and the new thing was that due to COVID, you have to leave the place for 1 hour between 14:00 and 15:00 o'clock. Then of course if you want to enter again, you have to pay for another ticket and to wait a long queue which is not pleasant when the weather is too hot. Still, the place is really nice for chilling during the summer, especially if you are looking for a quick escape from the city heat. There are different playgrounds available for the kids, as well as a bar/restaurant with a cold tap beer and some food options, so you can definitely spend the whole day there without worrying about anything.

Ein sehr schönes Bad. Sonne und Schatten, je nach Geschmack. Für 5 kann man sich einen Strandkorb für 2 Pers oder für 3 eine Liege mieten. Ideal für kleine Kinder. Wasserqualität top

Wir hatten einen schönen Nachmittag im Strandbad Babelsberg. Alles war sauber und gepflegt und das Personal war äußerst zuvorkommend und freundlich. Gleich 5 Rettungsschwimmer sorgten für die Sicherheit der Badegäste. Die Buchung der Tickets war schnell und unkompliziert und 6 für eine Familienkarte ebenfalls völlig in Ordnung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ich mag diesen Ort sehr. Was mich jedoch ziemlich nervt: der Grund vom Nichtschwimmerbereich ist total steinig. Warum wird der vor Saisonbeginn nicht geräumt bzw. geharkt?

Hochschwangere Frauen dürfen leider nicht mal kurz aufs Klo. Obwohl ich für 4 Euro Eis gekauft habe, hätte ich den vollen Eintritt löhnen müssen, um auf Toilette gehen zu dürfen. 50 Cent hätte ich gerne bezahlt, aber auf 3maliges Nachfragen habe ich 3 Nein erhalten. Musste mich dann hinter einem Baum im Park erleichtern, mithilfe meines Freundes, weil ich alleine aus der Hocke nicht mehr hochkommen. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass für solche Fälle eine Regelung gefunden werden würde. Großartig Lust, denn Sommer mit meinem bald Neugeborenen dort zu verbringen, habe ich jetzt nicht mehr. Schade
