Good for kids
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
The beach is huge, so prepare for a lot of walking. It's impressive, also clean and nice. Definitely worth a visit. The only issue was that by 10 o'clock in the morning the chairs were already sold out.

Summer at its best
Biggest beach i ever experienced in europe.
Huge beautiful beach, lovely sea, but you have to pay to enter it. You can also buy drinks etc on the 'pier', but you have to wear a mask even when you're outside, so we didn't. Landscape is beautiful, St. Peter-Ording city real touristic but kind of atmospheric with alle the little restaurants/bars. The parking costed us 6 euro's (3 hours), the entrance to the beach 6 euro's (we saved 1 euro, adults pay 3 Euro's for each person, children 0,50 euro's but they didn't charge our kids).
very nice beach to stay for an afternoon, unfortunately the beach chairs were sold out on this day, there's a fee and you have to walk down to the beach quite far over the pier
The beach of St.Peter-Ording is amazing. The size is stunning and it must be one of the largest beaches in the world (I guess). While a breach of course is best in summer, it’s also great for a nice long walk in winter whenever weather permits. Due to its sheer size it has multiple different areas. There’s the regular area, an area where one is allowed to bring dogs, the area for wind and kite surfers and the area for kite buggies. (Since it’s Germany, there’s of course also a nudist area ;-) you can easily avoid it though.) Not to forget, this is west coast, so you get a beautiful sunset of the weather allows. In short, an awesome place to visit all-year round. Enjoy
Fantastic for having a family stroll!
