I had a few hours spare and the weather was good. A colleague has recommended this place to me, so I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. Getting there was easy. Parking was crowded but I found a space as the car park is large. EUR 3 for 3 hours, which is reasonable. Entry was EUR 2.50, which I think is very cheap. The beach was busy but I had space to lie down without being crowded. There are toilets, food and drink on site. I only sunbathed but it looks like there is lots to do. I would certainly visit again if working around Leipzig again.

Summer hot spot! But be sure to bring plenty of your own stuff, including water, food, & shade! Not much selection or entertainment...you make your own fun!
