As a total beginner- I can totally recommend Ryan's Guitar lessons. Before joining in Ryan's classes- I have given YouTube lessons and other free resources a try but without proper guidance and corrective feedback found it really difficult to pickup even basic chords. With the beginner 8 lessons- Ryan provides a very structured approach on picking up chords, strumming patterns, finger picking and understanding of chromatic scales. Guess what- you start playing real song melodies and chords right from the first lesson (which actually keeps you going ;)) Working on online (Zoom meetings) the only downside was missing on the opportunity of group jamming and the feeling, but mini jam sessions on Zoom were also not bad.

I joined online beginner guitar class.I like the way Ryan taught the lessons.He is an excellent guitar teacher.Ryan gave very useful tips. And he is online via WhatsApp available to answer the queries. I would highly recommend rayns guitar classes.
I have always wanted to play a guitar! I never learned how to play an instrument as a kid and came to Ryan with zero knowledge of how to play guitar. Ryan is patient and seems to have an innate ability to teach any student at their level without intimidation or pressure. His teaching method allows you to learn the guitar quickly and effectively and he tailors his lessons to your goals. There is a reason why Ryan is booked up all the time. Highly recommended for all those who are planning to start playing the guitar. My special thanks to Ryan for his patient and well organized course. Will not stop there.
I started the beginner's class in the midst of the pandemic - first in person and then via Zoom. And it was exactly what I needed! It just gives you a buzz when you start playing the first notes and strums of your favourite songs. And Ryan has a great way of teaching in a straightforward and practical way. And I loved the choice of songs: Coldplay, Snow Patrol and R.E.M. amongst others. Already looking forward to starting the next level!
I was trying to learn ukulele for about a year by myself; however, I was not really successful and not aware of the mistakes I was doing. Eventually, as the story goes, I stopped learning it. Then, a friend of mine told me about the ukulele beginner-classes offered by Ryan Inglis, and I am really glad to sign up to it. Ryan is very patient, his classes are very well organized and he makes learning easy and fun. The teaching material for every lesson is always available on his website, and you can contact him anytime if you have questions, and more importantly he'd find the time to answer your questions also during non-class hours. I'd totally recommend his classes to anyone who wants to start learning ukulele as well!
Ryan is a great teacher and had a great time during the course! I was a total beginner and I found it extremely motivating to learn a new song each week. His teaching materials are well designed and I very much enjoyed going through them. I would definitely recommend his course.
I have been playing guitar on and off for a few years now but could never quite get to the point where I felt I could actually make music, play through a song and simply have fun. It was like there was an invisible wall that was holding me back. That all changed when I started taking lessons with Ryan only three months ago! He taught me to truly enjoy playing the guitar and also helped me to sing at the same time, something i had struggled with for years. With his help I started to learn songs very quickly and have been having more fun playing songs and singing than I have ever had before. Couldn’t be happier to have started taking lessons with him and I’d wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great guitar instructor!
Ryan is very passionate about his job. He is very kind and does his best to teach you as much as possible so that you can reach your goal. I was very nervous to start playing at first but Ryan helps you to feel comfortable no matter at which level you are. I recommend Ryan to anyone who is not sure wether they should start or not. Just start and you will love it as much as I do right now :) Can’t wait to start my next guitar lessons with him ( Level2) :) All the best....
