Landing in a C-141 in 1970, one of 1st flights as co-pilot. All flights there were quick turnarounds, only once went to beer parlor. Beer unlike US, meaning very good, also acquired taste for blood sausage among other types, although time was limited.

It is always a great experience shopping here. There is no waiting line, and everything runs very smooth.
My family and flewn in and out at Ramstein. We had a PCS from Kansas to Germany; then we had another PCS back to the US. My time in Germany was exactly 3 years but it was great. The facilities were clean. The Air Force SM were courteous. There was a USO that everything we needed until we boarded to fly. Overall, 4 of 5 stars.
Great bx, best base in Europe.
