Good place to stop just north of Hamburg. Very clean facilities (recently expanded). Cafe on site. I didn't give 5 stars as there are no kitchen facilities, but that shouldn't detract from staying here if you want to visit Hamburg. Local train station is just a 10 minute walk away and the journey into Hamburg is around 35 minutes.

Lovely site, perhaps the pitches were a little basic but it was inexpensive and with good facilities for the size of the site - cafe/bar, lovely clean showers, all expected motor home facilities. We visited last week which is the beginning of the season really, so some updating of the pitches was happening at the time. Be interesting to see how the pitches are improved/expanded. The owners were really lovely and I would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

You can't book online. Have to send an e-mail. If you don't get an answer it means they are fully booked but obviously you have to find out the hard way since they don't answer or write so on their website. Can't really recommend this camping honestly.

Zojuist gearriveerd, wat een schattige camping. Plaatsen variëren van klein tot middel, enkele wat groter. Er zijn op het veld 2 douches en 2 toiletten (witte containers, gratis) heel netjes! Voor bij de receptie zijn 2 badkamers met douch en toilet, tegen betaling 1/5min (meer privé). We kijken uit op maisvelden, heerlijk rustig. Af en toe een vliegtuig. Mooie entree met vijver en terras. Super vriendelijke ontvangst. Stroom is tegen betaling (muntgeld), super netjes (net als een parkeerautomaat in de garage), op de paal kun je zien wat je verbruikt. We moesten 27 betalen voor 2 volwassenen en 1 kind. Zeker aan te raden als door-trek-camping.
