Extremely rude person, highly unfriendly and borderline xenophobic. I can’t stress enough, if you’re not German and don’t speak German fluently stay away from Mr. Jäger. I’ve asked in mid October 2020 to have a Tokai refinished, it took me 2 weeks to raise the funds to be able to pay the for the service. When I’ve asked if I could have the “slot” as he calls, the email was rude and without any explanation. I’ve tried calling to ask for regarding the meaning of a term on his invoice to no success and received an email shortly after saying “If you have doubts in spite of trust, you’re in the wrong place.” I’m still learning German and there are sentences and terms that I’m not familiar still or just don’t understand at this point. I’ve tried calling him explaining it was a misunderstanding, that there was not a matter of lack of trust (why would I choose him if not based on trust) just to hear from Mr. Florian Jäger himself that he “wasn’t the only German speaking person in Germany and I was just wasting his time”. Maybe you’ll get a different experience, maybe I just got him in a bad moment, that being said these are my two cents about it.

Handwerklich größtenteils in Ordnung (teilweise Lackreste auf dem Griffbrett), Kundenkommunikation aber inakzeptabel. Vorstellungen oder Anregungen wurden im Laufe des Makeover zum Teil sehr unfreundlich und abwertend zurückgewiesen oder ins Lächerliche gezogen. Insgesamt fühlte man sich eher als Störfaktor denn als Kunde.
Die Zusammenarbeit mit Florian Jäger ist genau so, wie man sie sich mit einem Gitarrenbaumeister nur wünschen kann! Angefangen mit der überragenden handwerklichen Qualität und seinem umfangreichen Wissen, der überaus freundlichen und regen Kommunikation und der unglaublich guten Instrumente, die das Ergebnis von Florians Arbeit sind, ist es sicherlich keine Überraschung, dass er sich in internationalen Kennerkreisen bereits einen grandiosen Ruf erarbeitet hat und sehr wertgeschätzt wird. Wer seine umfangreiche Arbeit im Rahmen eines Bavarian Makeovers schon einmal erleben konnte, wird sich darüber lange Zeit freuen, ein einzigartiges und klanglich massiv verbessertes Unikat einer Les Paul zu besitzen.
