With a thrill of anticipation for marzipan we came to Lübeck. Our first stop was the Arcades Cafe - the cake was excellent, the marzipan ice cream cup was missing the marzipan taste. Still yummy. Next we saw the Niederegger museum across the street and paid a visit to the brand store. Probably the most important landmark in Lübeck :-)

If you want to relax and have a craving for something sweet this is the place to be at. Amazing aesthetics and super friendly staff.

Good coffee shop specializing in marzipan cakes and coffee drinks. There are outdoors sitting and is limited seating inside. Service can be slow when busy.

Good coffee place with nice views over the market. Would recommend the marzipan hot cocoa and the fresh waffles.

The King of marzipan. A must see in Lübeck. Try the marzipan waffle, you won't regret it

If you love Marzipan, you will love this Café. They have coffee and cake with Marzipan. Of course they have "normal" coffee, too. We tried the cake. It was very delicious. Staff was friendly.

It is a must to try Niederegger's Marcipan when in Lübeck. And why not in the Arcades Café? A tiny lovely spot in the downtown.
