I love their ichigo daifuku, the strawberry mochi. I really want to know where do they give these large, juicy and sweet strawberries. Do they home grow it because I've rarely found strawberries at the supermarket that are this high quality. I haven't been to Japan but I've heard the quality of strawberries there, although expensive, are one of the most delicious in the world. I'd be shock if they import this from Japan but they've definitely met the Japanese standards for strawberries! The mochi is so soft, i think it's freshly made because the store bought mochi has some preservatives and the texture isn't as soft and tender as this. In terms of food, I've gotten their Karaage (Japanese fried chicken) bento box which is available every Saturday. It's definitely not fresh, hot off the oil fried chicken since it's a bento lunch box so it's cold. I prefer fresh hot fried chicken but I can't deny that the seasoning is right on. The chicken is moist and flavorful so i really enjoyed it as a bento box option. I hate dry chicken so i give points here for the juiciness. They also offer small snacks if you're only a tad bit hungry like onigiri (rice balls). My personal favorite is the salmon onigiri.

After being München for almost a year, can I say I finally find my favourite restaurant for everyday food! The miso soup, the thinly sliced tender beef, the sweet favoured pork, the silky tofu, the spicy edamame, the udon soup that packed with Umami flavour, I love everything that being made from Suzuki Nomnom kitchen. Plus, the super cute Japanese handcrafts and kitchen ware can always spark joy, And what’s more, the smiley and nice staffs, always a bonus! If you love Japan home-cooking,this restaurant slash shop is a must go!!
