Ein Platz in der Altstadt von München. Auf ihm steht die Residenz und das National Theater. In der Mitte befindet sich das König Max Joseph I. Denkmal. Er war der erste Bayerische König. Ein bißchen Bayerische Geschichte. Die Tram fährt hier die Maximilianstrasse hoch, Die hier beginnt. In dem gelben Gebäude an der Seite des Platzes war in den 1830 iger Jahren eine Hauptpost.
