It has been like 2 years since I visited last.. Went back as I felt like having some Mexican. One of my favorites in Munich.. The Deco and the quick service is something I like about them and it has not changed a bit.. Being vegetarian my options are limited though, and yesterday although they have introduced some new dishes in the menu they weren't available to order.. Nevertheless the food tasted quite good! Staff are friendly, speak English and German, the place is neat. I wouldn't mind a little bit more spiciness but then that is personal flavor. Prices have gone up a bit over the years with inflation. It is a wonderful place for a quick bite.. I would definitely recommend. One star less because of lack of items in menu to place an order.

The taste was not particularly great. It was rather sub-standard for a restaurant claiming to serve „real Mexican food“, althoug still good compared to all the other „Mexican“ restaurant in Munich, or in Germany for that matter. Biggest deduction stems from the tortillas though, which were not properly heated, and soggy within a few minutes. Had to eat all of it with my fingers, the tortillas completely desintegrated. It‘s not La Taqueria‘s fault that it is not allowed to eat the tacos right away due to Covid restrictions, but I am pretty positive that by heating up the tortillas and/or using two tortillas (like they do in Mexico sometimes), the tacos would have at least survived the 5 minute wait. Super dry and tasteless rice on the pollo con mole taco is another big „no go“. All in all rather a 2,5 stars. Had tacos cochinita pibil / carnitas / pollo con mole 1 quesadillas. 10,50. But: they have a nice section of Mexican groceries.

The only Mexican place in Munich where you can find tamales. The personnel is always kind. They also offer retail products like tajin, cactus, sauces, Mexican chips and candies. They are always open to feedback and try to improve the menu adding new products.
