Love traditional Germany beer, but after 2 weeks of visiting Germany I was missing SoCal where I'm from. Taproom Jungbusch was a surprise find when I was in Mannheim in 2019 for the DTM finals. The beer was great and reminded me a lot of the beer I am used to to Southern California. Great beer for those that love the craft beer movement. Traditional German beer is also amazing, but for those that are looking for a different flavor in Germany this is a great place to be! Hope to visit again someday.

For when Eichbaum just isn't cutting it anymore. Always interesting, ever changing beer selection with some superb house beers. Substantial Weinschorle or simple G&T if you're fed up with beer. Outside seating on an untrafficked street with plenty of food options in the neighborhood. Straightforward, solid vibe. Friendly staff, killer management, loads of charm. Hip yet unpretentious. ️Schöne Leute.
Served me the wrong beer 3 times and didn't change it. A few weeks ago we were charged for 4 jäger maester shots that we never ordered. They presumed we were drunk British people (which is true) so they tried to rip us off. Not cool.
Great to see a craft beer bar in Mannheim. It's like being in craft beer heaven but in Germany! Ben and his staff is doing a great job representing the culture of the craft brew scene. Their house made Jungbusch Pale Ale rivals the best in North Carolina, reminds me of NoDa Jam Session and Sugar Creek Pale Ale. Keep up the good work and best wishes for success.
Nice enoug place in Jungbusch. It is more quiet then the rest of the bars. Prices are also a little higher then the rest but the quality if great. Big assortment of beers, Belgian beers as well. And some cocktails and long drinks
