I've flown all over the world and the Lübeck Airport is an absolute DREAM! It's tiny, which means check-in, security and boarding are done quickly and efficiently. No need to show up super early for your flight because you will walk in the doors and be at your gate in less than 15 minutes. Every employee was cheerful and helpful. My ONLY criticism is that the long-term parking is very, very far away and there's no transportation, so you have to walk along a very busy road to get to the terminal. I had a large suitcase and my dog, so it was not an easy walk. I am sure as more flight options are added, they will need to provide transportation from the lot. Other than that, I highly highly recommend flying into or out of this airport. I also give an A rating to Lübeck Air as well. All around great experience here!

I have visited this small airport to join a tour with helicopter. This airport seems only to use for private airplane or military exercises. It is a quite airport. Almost no activities. But it offers some nice tours with helicopters or small planes. You can check the schedules on the website. It was a nice and unforgettable experience though

It's like a piece of grass and a shed. HAHAHA!!! Cool place, though, but very small. I had tomato soup while I was waiting to be picked up.
