Easy-going camping and canoeing, good for a laid-back stay. Retirement home next door might cause problems for late night hard partying, though. Grills, tables and benches available to rent. Quiet spot on edge of town leading into forested area. Nearby road and train tracks did not disturb -- I heard them but it wasn't bad. Rewe grocery store in easy walking distance for food, drinks and grilling supplies -- even had giant marshmallows.

Great place and great canoe tours. Perfect for kids and adults! Very clean toilet and shower facilities too.

Sehr schöne Lage, allerdings durch morgendlichen Berufsverkehr und naheliegender Bahn auch sehr laut. 27 / Nacht für ein kleines Wohnmobil, zwei Personen inklusive Strom und Duschen (Nebensaison) fand ich zu teuer. Sanitäre Anlagen waren top, der Italiener freundlich und das Essen dort wohlschmeckend und relativ günstig. Der Ort Runkel ist bezaubernd.
