Fantastic model shop. Stock all scales, and at good prices too. Plus they speak brilliant English (and Spanish!!!)
I loved this model train shop! I visited it after Carnival 2017 and saw their renewed look, where each space and every corner are very well thought. Very complete array of articles in stock, with very reasonable prices. I was just a tourist in Cologne and found their location very handy, not far from the Dom / central train station. The day before I visited their second hand / used goods shop (in the back), where I got 2 articles as new, with great price. They were also very helpful answering a question I had. I surely recommend this shop and it's yet another reason to visit Cologne. Thank you!
Great shop, quiet area, 15 mins walk from the Hbf / Dom. Friendly staff with plenty of English and a good knowledge of their stock and the prototype. Loved their online catalogue of current stock. Prices were certainly lower than I was expecting. I didn’t have time to visit their secondhand shop - next door, but I suspect it would be worth a return visit to find a no longer available gem. And yes, I did buy something I didn’t REALLY need but at those prices...
Amazing store. Great selection and great people. I'm from the USA and appreciated all the time the staff spent expaining new and special items as well as directing me towards great products that aligned with my current interests. Please don't overlook that this store has a sister building full of used products. Ask about it. If you are visiting Koeln (or a neighboring city) and love model trains, get here. Period! Dave B
