Only 4 stars because it is not included in the VVO day ticket, unlike the ferry service in Stadt Wehlen. Not the best idea to visit on a long weekend. From about 5-7pm the ferry was operating at maximum capacity and queues were horrendously long. If you have time, it is better to wait it out. Grab a beer from the Hermann bistro, take a seat by the banisters and enjoy the view. The ferry runs from 0400-0000 so there's plenty of time to catch a later one and have more space on board.

Sehr unfreundliche Mitarbeiter. Erst soll man doppelt bezahlen und dann würd man auch noch beleidigt.
Kleines hübsches Städtchen am Ufer der Elbe ! Ein lohnender Besuch ! Guter Ausgangspunkt für eine Wanderung zur Bastei (Aber gut zu Fuß ist von Vorteil )
Man wartet sehr lange auf die Fähre und diese ist meistens völlig überfüllt. Schade, dass es keine Brücke gibt.

Wir waren da schon 2 mal und weitere Besuche werden folgen. Der Blick auf die Bastei ist einfach umwerfend. Auf dem Foto ist die Burg Rathen zu sehen.
