This is a really good place - has a DM inside. The downside is that it’s too popular with the Swiss ppl & it’s always crowded.
Very nice supermarket, clean and bright, good selection of items. Has a small area to offer some cooked food. Couple months ago, also added a sushi section. Staffs are behind the counter and making sushi right there. They are pretty good for supermarket quality, the sushi rice is quite good even better than a lot of those Asian restaurants that offer sushi. Unfortunately they have only salmon sushi for now, and only few packages included shrimps. I hope they will have more varieties of fish in the future. And I tried the chocolate mochi for dessert, they were very yummy. 2nd review: Unfortunately, the last few times(since around Dec./Jan?) the sushi's rice wasn't as good as when it first started. It's mushier, the taste was still ok. Wonder if the chef has changed.
What a fantastic huge market to shop for groceries! Isles and isles of great products, clean and neat. It has basically everything you require to cook up a storm! Maybe I’m biased towards Edeka, which I believe can be pricier than other supermarkets, but I do find that their products are of superb quality. It’s a food lovers’ heaven!
Excellent place to do groceries - plenty of options and great selection. It can get crowded on Saturdays, but every other day is pretty calm.
