It was my first time to buy an apartment in Germany. As I do not have a permanent residence yet, not all banks will accept my mortgage application. Luckily, I got referred to Interhyp by my bank. As a foreigner, going through the mortgage application and apartment buying procedures aren't easy at all, because everything is in German only! I would like to thank especially Kevin Ringwald from Interhyp. He is highly diligent and always responds very quickly. My case was actually a little bit complicated, because I am buying a new building and there was only one unit left and not yet sold. So the time to respond to the developer would be critical for me to secure the apartment. Thanks to Kevin's quick and great work, he quickly obtained the pre-approval from the bank within only a few days! This really gives me the peace of mind so I can successfully secure this last unit. A big thank to Kevin! :) The mortgage application tool by Interhyp is also very easy to use, so I simply upload all the necessary documents, and with Kevin's submission and follow-up with the banks, I quickly got the final offers from the banks. And Kevin patiently walked through with me all the mortgage contracts, as they are all in German. This greatly ease my concern for signing any legally binding documents in a foreign country. And I am constantly impressed by Kevin's quick responses, and willingness to help! Without him, my mortgage application wouldn't have been so smooth. Additionally, because the developer agent does not speak English, Kevin even extended his support and called the developer agent for me, updating her my mortgage approval status. I really feel very thankful to him! If you are a foreigner and don't speak German (like me), I would highly recommend Kevin to you. I would also refer him to my friends in Germany when they are buying an apartment. Thank you, Kevin! :)
