Delicious food, cosy environment, incredibly helpful staff. Visited the place already 2 times with a group larger than 30 people, in both occasions they nailed the service, the food, extra treats and even though they do not have so many people serving, the food was delivered much faster then many other restaurants. So overall a 5 star experience.

Veg and non veg food is very tasty here.I have tried a lot of Indian restuarants in Europe but Himalaya was best. Chapatti is a must eat. Kadhai Chicken and Chole Bhature were delicious

For a short stay over in Halle we were looking for a place to eat. We tried Indian. First appearance might fool you. Looking at the quality and tastefulness of the food... It is splendid. Recommended

If you love Indian food well DO NOT go there. The "naan" bread tasted nothing like the original, the rice and "food" had been clearly reheated in the microwave. The Indian food served there is as if someone had been given a vague idea of what Indian food is through pictures and would have try to emulate it. The result, of course, is a bland concoction which tastes nothing like the original. Naturally, Indian restaurants in Europe are much blander and than the Indian original ones however, some are actually tasty and enjoyable to eat. I am convinced that this place is only maintained afloat by perhaps the worst culinary philistines in the world: the Germans. A nation that has as much culinary refinement as the Soviets had architectural taste or Italians have a sense for German Genauichkeit. They will eat pretty much anything and enjoy it. To these brutes, eating a 4-course meal at a 3-star Michelin restaurant is tantamount to eating at KFC. These uncouth boors patronize such establishments and allow them to exist whereas in more civilized countries of Europe, such an establishment would have quickly gone bankrupt forced into closure.
