You can only peek into so many physically transplanted buildings before it gets boring. I enjoyed reading the little historical notes more than going into the buildings. Maybe because buildings could use a little rennovating and upkeep. I'm not expecting freshly-painted walls in bright pastel colors, but at the same time, don't go to the effort of moving the buildings and collecting them in one place just to let them deteriorate.

Ok, not sure though how to react,it's well preserved area , nice walk on Sunday afternoon . It's different experience when one say it's a museum. May be for city kid it's will be surprising experience but it didn't impressed or amused me. Maybe because some part of my life I grew up in such environment. But still good to re-visit your memory n feel refreshed!!
Great place with lots to see and many things to do. Offers a student discount. Doesn't accept visa cards so make sure you bring cash of a maestro card for payment. Offers free parking.
This is a great experience. Give at least a half day or more to see all the buildings.
A bit confusing as to where to turn, left or right. It should be obvious from the map, but somehow, it wasn't. The place has that inner peace of an old half-abandoned village I remember from my childhood when I was visiting grandparents. This peace was disturbed by visitors who were everywhere. The houses were marvelous, very well preserved. Occasionally, one could enjoy a small meal in an authentic old kitchen. There was a big restaurant, brimming with life. The restrooms very clean. I recommend it!
