I'm only two days into my online A2 course, but I'm already over the moon with my experience. I'm moving to Germany for work and signed up for a week of classes. It's been a huge confidence boost to advance my listening comprehension. Today after class I did a little dance, feeling so excited about my German progress. I'm extending my course another week or two or three. A few administrative bugs were promptly taken care of and I'm psyched about the 20% off discount for online classes in November.

I spent 2 weeks this summer at GLSBerlin and I wish I could have stayed more! The teachers were really good and motivated and all the students were also really motivated to learn german. We spoke german all the time even at the breaks, I could see my improvement after these weeks. The Campus is really good too. It's a pity that the cafeteria was not available due to covid. But everyone was nice and friendly, specially the people at the reception, who welcome you when you arrive new :) There are also afternoon activities every day (currently only 3 times a week due to covid) so it's good to keep practising german after class and to meet other students. The apartments at the campus were also perfect. Well equiped and you get cleaning service as well. It's a bit expensive in my opinion but defenitelly the most practical option to stay there. If I come back to Berlin to study german I will defenitelly come back to GLS!

Hi, I did an online course for 4 weeks with GLS. It was my first course online and I must say it was very effective. Teachers have adapted very well to use digital tools in creative ways, and was a lot of fun to have fellow students joining the course from around the world. Additionally, something special about GLS that I have not seen in any other school, they teach directly in German, even if you are in an A1 or A2 course. They do not use a base language as reference. They are able to teach all in German with videos pics and hand gestures. This is amazing because you learn the language as you would when you were a kid. More intuitive and of course proper use instead of comparing 1-2-1 with your native toungue. (BTW - of course teachers can speak English and if it becomes impossible in German, they will be able to explain in English. But tbh there were very little times when this was needed :) ) Highly recommend GLS!!

I spent 6 weeks this summer at GLS and I enjoyed my time there. The teachers are very professional and the colleagues I had in class were all interested to learn which helped a lot with my own learning experience.
