During our 5 day stay in Fussen we had dinner here one evening. The food, drinks, service and price were great. A fun atmosphere, they have English menus.

We enjoyed it. Ordered a plate to share which turned out to be an enormous amount of food for two people. We could easily have feed all our three kids from the same plate. But the food we were served was good and for us typically German. Staff was ok and not much more. Would go here again.

We really enjoyed the food, was tasty and fresh. More of traditional German style. We took chicken breast with potato and pork schnitzel with fries. Both dishes had a salad. The stuff was very friendly and nice. We are very grateful for this great dinner!

Annoyed by the rudeness and the hostile staff. But the food is not too bad. Ordered the pork knuckle, chicken and the cheesy noodles. Price is alright. But I don’t quite understand why do they want to charge 1 for an additional plate.

I missed pork rib and potato soup here. The meat is so tender and the soup is so rich but never feel enough to drink. The portion of soup enough just right 2 person. Skin of pork knuckle is not so crispy, but meat is tender enough.

Best service and food we had during our trip. Friendly and courteous service, great food and atmosphere. They really care about their customers... what was rare on other places. Expensive but amazing mushroom soup and great pork knuckle. Not the cheapest place but worth the extra.

Overall food was better then average. Loved the medieval theme. Staff was overall friendly and efficient. We did go at noon with the restaurant at about 60% capacity. Be aware that like many restaurants in the area that this is a cash-only shop. The restaurant was reasonably priced. Lunch for two with drinks was approximately 40 euros
