It’s a place where you can see new ideas taking place...place where you can feel connection with the time and people. Can you imagine living in a building built like five hundred years ago?

Must see in Augsburg!! Very idyllic little town inside a town. Everything for a good reason. The citizens pay only less than 1 per year for rent. Like for 500 years ago..
Really weird at first sight and an interesting attraction. We need to know German history well enough, especially the history of the Fugger family, to really measure its essence. A 1-2 hour visit, a lot of reading in front of it, and you can already understand everything you can see here.
A definite must visit if you are in Augsburg, this is a amazing historical site depicting the original story of Germany’s residency, social life. This place was heavily damaged by bombings from World War II but has been built back to its original style. It was a bit of pity that reception lady was very unfriendly. Entrance fee for adults is 6:50 euro. The place is picturesque.
This place in is great, 6.50 to get in, make sure you pick up an English leaflet on the way in. There is is a small museum which is mostly in German, a replica house which has signs in English, and the WWII bunker which has signs in English and Italian
